Accessibility on im-auftrag-der-gesellschaft.de – our commitment to all users

The DSGV is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, regardless of individual abilities. For us, accessibility is an ongoing process that we pursue with care and commitment.

What we have already done

  • Clear navigation: Our content is structured in such a way that it can be easily captured by screen readers.
  • Optimised design: We design our pages in accordance with current standards for accessible design. In doing so, we not only pay attention to easily recognisable colours and contrasts, but also continuously follow developments in the field of inclusive user experience (UX) and accessible web design (UI) in order to make our content usable for as many people as possible.
  • Simple language with SUMM AI: For clearly understandable content, we rely on the support of SUMM AI, an application that makes texts accessible and easy to read.

How we ensure accessibility

We design our offerings so that as many people as possible can make optimal use of them. To this end, we follow the four basic principles of accessibility:

  1. Perceptible
We design our content so that it is accessible to all senses. This means, among other things, that texts are easy to read, images are provided with alternative text, and videos are supplemented with subtitles.
  2. Operable
Our website is designed so that it can be operated entirely with the keyboard, as an alternative to a mouse or touchscreen. Clear navigation and clearly structured pages make it easy to find what you are looking for quickly.
  3. Understandable
Information is formulated simply and clearly. Even complex content is presented in easy-to-understand language so that everyone can understand it.
  4. Robust
We ensure that our digital offerings function flawlessly on different devices and with different assistive technologies. Regular testing ensures that new technologies are also supported.
